Emergency Department and Trauma Care
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Mount Carmel offers quality, comprehensive emergency medical care to more than 290,000 patients each year. As an emergency department nurse, you would work with our board-certified emergency physicians, other high-acuity nurses, on-call specialists and expert technicians. Available at Mount Carmel East, West and St. Ann's, this program provides the utmost in care before, during and after pregnancy for mothers and their babies. Maternity/Infant Health nurses also assist with newborn stabilization, providing patient education, working with neonatal technology, monitoring high-risk pregnancies and more.
